Previously, when I've wanted to illustrate how crazy copyright law is, and the even crazier places it's headed, I've sometimes pointed people to the Right to Read. Now I can also point them to Melancholy Elephants.

It turns out that Melancholy Elephants was written in the early eighties. I read it assuming it had been written in the last year or so.
