The CZR Public License (CzrPL) is adapted from the GNU General Public License and the OpenContent License, and has generally the same aims. The main difference between this license and the GNU GPL is that this license is designed to apply to content such as music, poetry, photography, etc., rather than to software. This was also the aim of the OpenContent License but, unfortunately for my purposes, it added several anti-commercial measures which I thought weren't in the spirit of the GNU GPL and, also, were not in my interests. The other difference between this license and the others is that this does not make explicit the lack of a warranty. I simply thought that since no one expects music to come with a warranty anyway, there was little point in emphasising that there wasn't one in this case.
The CzrPL covers all music released by colin z robertson unless otherwise specified. Other work may be released under this license in the future.
Anyone is free to use this license for their own work, but does so entirely at their own risk. While I would encourage anyone to use a GPL-style license for their work, I ask that people use this particular modification of the license with caution.
